OVERVIEW
The Dayton D520S is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.
The tire upgrades the all weather traction with the stronger all season compound and the optimal symmetric tread design. They work together to enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability and power. The ribbed pattern's optimal siping placement upgrades the model's surface grip throughout the drive with additional biting edges, while the compound maintains the rubber flexibility in various temperatures. The tread's circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint. This actively resists hydroplaning, which further improves the wet and winter weather grip on the road surface.
The optimal tread design enhances the overall controllability. The symmetric ribbed tread design enhances the surface contact throughout the drive, which boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. This results in the vehicle's exceptional performing ability, ensuring the driver's full control over the entire vehicle.
The D520S guarantees a longer lasting tread life. The symmetric ribbed tread design and the all season tire compound boost the model's usability. The tread's symmetric ribbed pattern, with the solid shoulder ribs, maintains the tire's constant surface contact throughout the drive. This enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevent premature wear formations on the tire's surface. The stronger all season compound avoids heat build-up and decreases the tread wear rate, promoting an elongated service life.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
