OVERVIEW
The Federal Ecovan ER02 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial vans and trucks.
The special advanced tire compound and the symmetric tread pattern work together to ensure excellent all weather traction. The tire firmly grips the road surface in all dry, wet and winter weather. The three wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush away from the tire’s footprint, preventing hydroplaning in the process. In this way, the tire guarantees a safer year round driving experience.
The tread pattern offers constant road contact. The wide shoulder tread block sequence and the two continuous ribs maintain road contact at all times and improve the model’s controllability. They upgrade the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes quick and precise in its response to the driver’s instructions, while the tire’s structure is stabilized against the driving pressures affecting the model. The circumferential grooves also manage to shorten the braking distance. They enhance the braking ability by increasing the tire’s road contact, guaranteeing a more secure drive.
The Ecovan ER02 is very fuel efficient. The advanced LRR tire compound lowers the rolling resistance, which is the pressure affecting the tire that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire’s motion. The decreased rolling resistance reduces the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The lessened rolling resistance also achieves a slower tread wear rate. This, along with the wave-shaped tread design’s prevention of irregular wear formations, lengthens the tire’s tread life and usability. The tire becomes environmentally friendly and cost conscious as a result.
