The Yokohama 714R is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle’s drive axle.
The tire optimizes the all weather traction. The durable all season compound and the open shoulder pattern with the siping and block pattern enhances the dry, wet and winter weather grip. This combination allows the tire to greatly improve the forward motion during the tire’s versatile weather performance. The block and siping detail upgrade the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, while compound materials maintain their flexibility throughout the year. The groove placement avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, ensuring a safer wet weather performance.
The model offers a longer lasting tread life. The lengthened tread life is guaranteed with the tread design and the durable compound. The tread design’s tie-bars stabilize the surface contact while the tires are in motion, ensuring even pressure distribution across the tread area. The tire avoids irregular wear formations across the tread area, preventing irregular wear formations. The stronger compound elements prevent premature wear formations, greatly improving the usability. The tread’s funnel-shaped groove pattern avoids stone retention, by ejecting rocks stuck in the footprint before they can drill into the tread area. This combination greatly enhances the usability.
The 714R upgrades the fuel efficiency. The advanced compound maintains the surface contact while the tires are in motion, minimizing the rolling resistance from harming the casing. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle’s fuel intake needed to keep them in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance decreases the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels, resulting in a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.
