    Description

    Altec Valencia 846b MADO modified. These speakers have new cabinets which bring the horns to a proper listening height and are narrower therefore more convenient for room placement. They are heavily braced to remove unwanted resonance but still lighter than the originals while maintaining the internal volume. The crossovers have been rebuilt and slightly modified. The 416-8a woofers are newly reconed. The 811 horns are driven by 806-8a compression units as in the originals. Their dimensions are 19"w X 24"d X 42"h. The speakers are essentially like new and sound amazing. Contact me with any questions.
