This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG CLEAR with RUBY STAIN  "CRESCENT"  LARGE ROUND DEEP FLAT SERVING BOWL.
This Early American Pattern Glass "CRESCENT" ruby stain bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass, that is just the way this beauty left the McKee & Brothers Glass company;   I may add that this
EAPG CLEAR with RUBY STAIN "CRESCENT" LARGE ROUND DEEP FLAT SERVING BOWL is an early vintage antique glass flat serving bowl that has been used and displayed over many years and is still in very beautiful condition;   This Early American Pattern Glass ruby stain "CRESCENT" large round deep flat serving bowl
is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, flea bites, scratches, and no glass staining, all edges are very smooth to the finger feel, shown is a ruby stain smear and missing spot of ruby shown in a couple of photos, both were done during production of this family heirloom, any questions at all please e-mail me;   I like to photopraph my glass, there are so so few white specks if any through out the ruby staining to this sought after "CRESCENT" pattern in ruby stain that we seldom find, (please e-mail me if you have any questions on this family heirloom bowl) the numerous photos do show this to you, this deep bowl has numerous scallops going around the top of this bowl having NO damage, needless to say the ruby stain at the top adds extra beauty to this bowl, this particular bowl I have here has no souveniring or etching that we sometimes see on ruby stained glass, in all the years of buying and selling I see so little of this pattern;   Mr. Heacock shows numerous items produced in this "CRESCENT" pattern in his colored photos section of his ruby stained "bible" of Early American Pattern Glass of ruby stain;
I may also add that this particular "CRESCENT" large deep flat serving bowl that I have here does have those Early American Pattern Glass characteristics of the EAPG that was produced during this era of the glass making process having stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles inside this glass bowl, these characteristics are from the production of this bowl and is NOT considered damage;   This much sought after "CRESCENT" ruby stain pattern is non-flint glass produced by "National Glass at the "McKee & Brothers factory around 1902-1903" and can be seen and talked about in THE ruby stained bible by "William Heacock"  the "Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass  Book #7, Ruby-Stained glass From A  - Z ", talk and show this much sought after "CRESCENT" pattern in the ruby stained bible on page #44 showing colored photos of this beautiful pattern, and more info on page #96;
