ESS AMT 1B Speakers

Really, the pictures don't do them justice.  Yes they look beautiful in the pictures, but in person, even more so.  I Re-foamed the woofers and the passive radiators.  There were some chips and scratches, that I fixed, then sanded down each speaker.  The areas that are black, which are the tops, and bottom stands, I re-painted using a Matte black finish.  Since I had them stripped down, I decided I wanted to use a different finish for the wood. The grilles are a black and red weave, and I just felt, a nice rich cherry finish was in order.  No fewer than 5 coats of Watson Cherry Stain were used, followed by a 2 week curing time.  Then, onto 4 coats of Minwax Polyurethane Semi-Gloss, with color sanding between each coat, for an ultra deep look, and smooth feel.  They aren't perfect however.  There is a run, but not horrible, on one area of the Matte finish, and there is a small area I wasn't able to repair, in the wood, as pictured, but I was able to blend it well.  There are some small cracks on one of the logo templates on top.  But that's it.  I have countless hours into the restoration of these speakers.  I have several pictures of the restoration process if you would like to see them, as well as I can take any extra pictures you want, of them in the're current state. These speakers have been played for 15 minutes, since the re-foams. They look and sound beautiful...
These are practically impossible to box and ship properly, unless you either have the original boxes, which I don't.  Or have them custom crate boxed for shipping which would be very expensive.  You can pick them up locally for free. Or, I would be willing to drive in any direction from my location, to deliver them, up to 250 miles.  Meaning, no matter where you are located, I will meet you up to 250 miles away from where I'm located to make the delivery at a location we agree on.  You would have to pay 0.00 for me to do this.  If you think about it, it's a terrific deal.  You wouldn't have to worry about these speakers showing up, possibly damaged through regular shipping you would be paying 5-7 times as much for.  They would be delivered, in the shape you see them in now.
My bottom line price for these, after all the work I've put into them is ,000.00.  eBay takes 10% right off the top, leaving me with ,800.00 which I can live with.  But that is my absolute bottom line.  So if you truly are interested, you now know what I need for these speakers, and exactly how far I'm willing to go, to help get them in your hands.  Thank you very much.  Cam..
