Here's something you won't find at Circuit City...................
They say the time to buy something that is really rare, is when you see it.....
Up for grabs are these two ( a pair) Field Coil Midrange/tweeter dome devices. These were fabricated at PMR in Ohio with all AMERICAN components, so quality, reliability, and performance are second to none.

With a wide response of 1KHz to over 18Khz, you will be able to simply add these to your current woofers/speakers for a full spectrum response.
If you have never heard a pair of FC tweeters, they sound effortless... NOW is your chance to build a 2/3/ or 4 way design!
These 2 are based off of a high quality AMERICAN made heavy duty 10-12" speaker. The iron/pole plates in the circuit is .625" thick! EACH tweeter  is 18 pounds 4 Ounces (((( EIGHTEEN F.N' POUNDS EACH!!!))) That's over 36 pounds worth of iron!
Each is  over 8"  tall.
The field coils ARE wrapped in sheet copper to magnetically shield the device as much as easily possible... Plus, it looks pretty damned cool too.....
The "Lead-Out" wires from the coil are double insulated, and have standard spade terminals SOLDEDED on for a convenient way to connect/disconnect them from your power supply.,...
Also, the hook up for the voice coil uses a standard spade terminal strip(one per side) so you can feed these signal with any conventional speaker leads..
The voice coils have an 8 ohm impedance, with a DCR of around 6 ohms
Field coils have a 3K ohm rating, with actual DCR s of  2916 and  3066 ohms.
Domes themselves are 1.55" diameter, with a FLAT WIRE winding, and are a titanium composition.
These things sound sensational. The high end is fast, quick, and accurate. Seemingly effortless and massless response they add a sense of timbre'  that you have to hear yourself. Guitars soar, saxophones seem like chainsaws, and cymbals sizzle with excitement.
One good thing about these, is that I will include a couple EXTRA diaphragms, just in case you smoke one of them...
The design was built with replaceability in mind. The plexiglass plate is the mounting plate for the diaphragms  and the terminals, and is easily removeable and serviceable. The four main bolts holds everything together.
* Fully ran under diagnostics and operates just fine.
