This hand colored glass slide is an ORIGINAL and it is NOT a reproduction. It was created to be projected onto the movie theatre screen before the film was released to promote the "coming attraction". Some people in the movie collectible world have said, that, glass slides are much rarer than the paper poster memorabilia from the same film and are very rare pieces of film history.

Plot Summary:
The prizefighter Joe Palooka's popularity soars after his manager, Knobby Walsh, explains to reporters how "clean living" is responsible for Joe's success. The public is pleased with a hero who believes in drinking milk.
Joe's rich and unscrupulous Uncle Charlie sees a way to capitalize on Joe's good fortune. He schemes to make a land purchase, trading on Joe's good name, then blackmails Joe and Knobby once they figure out how they're being used. Joe's sweetheart Anne Howe tries to intervene as a legislative investigation of the land swindle begins, and Joe outfoxes thugs employed by Charlie to get to the hearings just in time and clear his name.
Trivia:
Joe Palooka is an American comic strip about a heavyweight boxing champion, created by cartoonist Ham Fisher. The strip debuted on April 19, 1930 and was carried at its peak by 900 newspapers. It was cancelled in 1984.

Leon Errol was an Australian actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. You probably solely know of him as a comedy actor of the 1920s on, but he had a substantial life prior to that! He was born in New South Wales in 1881, and studied medicine at the University of Sydney, but while at school, he caught the acting bug, and instead began touring Australia, New Zealand, and Great Britain, doing all sorts of acting, including Shakespeare! He first went to the U.S. in 1898, but did not move there until 1908. He was in the Ziegfeld Follies in 1911 and was a major Broadway star before moving to Hollywood in the beginning of the 1920s. Some of his movies include: Never Give a Sucker an Even Break, The Great Ziegfeld, and We're Not Dressing. He passed away in 1951 at the age of 70.

Joe Kirkwood Jr. was an actor from the 1940s to the 1960s. He is best known for his title role in the Joe Palooka boxing films. Some of his movies include: Night and Day, Joe Palooka in the Counterpunch, and The Marriage-Go-Round. He passed away in 2006 at the age of 86.

Tom married actress Elyse Knox, and is the father of Mark, Kristin, and Kelly Harmon, who all also went into the acting industry! He passed away in 1990 at the age of 70.
