This is an original, folded, theater issued German movie poster, 16" x 23", for the 1960's re-release of the 1933 classic sci-fi thriller film "King Kong."
Note: This is the German A2 size poster and we believe it to be very rare. We have only seen about a dozen of these posters every auctioned or sold, most in lessor condition.
This original 1960's poster is in excellent condition with some minor edge, fold seam and handling wear, some minor center fold seam wear at the cross folds, minor edge and corner dings and bends, a few minor edge tears, and staple holes at the upper border and lower border. Overall, this poster is in beautiful shape with fantastic images and graphics and bright sharp colors. I would grade this poster a 7/8, on a 1 to 10 scale (with 10 being in true mint state condition). We have included a lot of pictures, so you can see the posters condition for yourself. This poster will be shipped folded flat and secured between heavy cardboard for protection.
