If Edgar Villchur had access to these back in the early 1950's, they would be more famous. Obviously they don't have the speed and transparency of the drivers he chose, but they are more extended in the highs. You could spend a lot more and do a lot worse with many of the drivers that have more entries in the audio forums. In this instance, rarity translated into undeserved anonymity. Be the first guy in your  group to sport a pair of these. I bet they'd sound smokin' good in a directional horn baffle a la Edgar, Jensen, RCA, etc.
