PLEASE NOTE:  This is a tiny halter for Miniature horse NEWBORN/FOALS, it will not fit a big horse foal (order my adult size rope halter for big horse foals)
simple, effective and affordable!  These are made by a Miniature Horse breeder to actually fit our minis!!  It started out making them to give away with the horses I sold, and then my friends wanted them, which led to the suggestion that I should start selling them and here I am 10 years later still doing it!
They are made from 3/16"  inch good quality marine rope, and tied with the flatter "kinder" knots, as compared to rope halters for large horses.   The smaller rope gives you better control over a regular web type halter, which is effective for training your horse.  Always use caution when tying a horse with a rope halter, and never leave a rope halter on a horse.  I use them on all my horses, foals, mares, stallions and even on my big riding horses!    The halter shown is the Blue and modeled by my 2013 colt, "ROWDY".
"FOAL SIZE" is my smallest size halter and will fit a range of babies, it is designed to fit from newborn up to about 6 mo's old, after that i offer a weanling size halter that will fit from about 6 mo's old and up.   I
f you have a question with fit,  i size my halters by the top of the noseband.  Measure across the nose to where the knots would be on either side.  This size halter the measurement is 5".
