The Vandersteen Model 2series is almost universally acclaimed as one of the best sounding speakers youcan get for the price and better than many costing considerably more. Soniccharacteristics are a balanced, smooth response with deep tight bass and crisphighs. They are highly accurate, but more important they provide an involvingmusical experience. The original Model 2 began production in 1977 and improvements were made with Models 2A, 2B, 2C, 2Ci and beyond. These are the 2 Ci's and have been treated extremely well. We have "downsized" our speakers and it's sadly time to part with these. We still have the boxes and they include stands.
