  • Condition: Empty console is in good used condition with only expected honest wear to top surface of cabinet. Original detachable speakers are still populated with their original drivers and in excellent condition. Tambour sliding door opens and closes properly and smoothly.

    Description

    Vintage 1963 Danish Modern styled console in walnut has the unique feature of detachable speakers. Cabinet itself is empty and ready for you to add your own components. Both original speakers are in excellent condition and are still populated with their original drivers. The speaker cabinets are mounted on pivots which actually allow them to be canted outward or detached completely and placed further apart to achieve a full surround sound. When the speakers are detached, the top of the cabinet has drop-leaves that can then fold down onto the sides of the cabinet. This particular Packard Bell console cabinet is very in-demand, extremely hard to find these days, and one rarely comes up for sale. This MCM piece will make a huge and stylish statement in any room that it adorns!
